Location: Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Paris, France

The Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development, in conjunction with the University of Maryland, is convening a conference on European perspectives on poverty and inequality, to be held in Paris on March 16-17. The purpose of the conference is to bring together leading scholars whose research focuses on measures of poverty and inequality along with their uses in policy. The papers presented at the conference will be published by Oxford University Press in an edited volume. The volume is intended to provide a high level reflection of the European perspective on measures of poverty and inequality and their uses in a policy context for academic audiences interested in the topic.
